ABOUT US
In May 2021, a breath of fresh air blew through the premises at CFC Scaffolding & Formwork. Under new ownership, the company was streamlined and new systems and processes put in place to ensure everything and everyone works together like a well-oiled machine.
Building on the long history of CFC, we endeavour to continue providing stellar service to our clients.
CFC is about the equipment but without our people, the equipment would be pretty useless. We rely on our small yet experienced team, who together have nearly a lifetime’s worth of experience, to deliver solutions best suited to our client’s needs and requirements.
We pride ourselves on providing our solutions quickly and efficiently, thereby saving our clients money and time but we refuse to compromise on quality and safety.
We offer a full range of formwork and scaffolding services and our team does it all for you from enquiry right through to delivery, building, stripping and returning.
CFC is proud to have a professional SACPCMP construction health & safety officer as part of our team. Our erected scaffolds on client sites are inspected weekly for compliance with SANS10085.
OUR HISTORY
In January 1984, Colin Poole and Jeremy West went into partnership with a clear goal - to take on the highly competitive formwork and scaffolding market in Cape Town and grow it into a company that specialises in formwork and scaffolding hire and sales.
Colin brought a wealth of experience in the formwork and scaffolding field to the partnership whilst Jeremy brought his expertise as a chartered accountant. It proved to be the perfect balance.
A lot has changed since 1984, most recently being the change of ownership in 2021, but one thing remains the same, the commitment to providing customers with the best possible service and value that we can offer!
It is through our commitment to service as a trusted formwork and scaffolding company that we have forged strong relationships with some of South Africa’s largest and most reputable companies.
At CFC we believe in doing the job right the first time, and with over 70 years of combined contract scaffolding, scaffolding hire and sales and formwork experience, we believe that we can cater to our clients requirements.
